After all, since Amar'e Stoudemire appeared on "The Late Show" with David Letterman eight days ago, the New York Knicks haven't won a game. Must be something to this theory, right?

The Letterman Curse dates all the way back to Isiah Thomas mocking Don Chaney's job security when the former Knicks president was a guest on the show. And then there was Larry Brown's big sit-down with Dave just before the Knicks went on to lose 59 games. After Mike D'Antoni read a top 10 list, the Knicks lost 50.Or, it could be that the team is running out of gas, with head coach Mike D'Antoni sticking with a short rotation, and starters such as Stoudemire and Ray Felton playing 40 minutes a game. Had to catch up to them at some point. The Carmelo Anthony trade is starting to look like a deal they have to make.
