The Reason For New York Knicks Losing Streak? Blame David Letterman

After all, since Amar'e Stoudemire appeared on "The Late Show" with David Letterman eight days ago, the New York Knicks haven't won a game.  Must be something to this theory, right?

The Letterman Curse dates all the way back to Isiah Thomas mocking Don Chaney's job security when the former Knicks president was a guest on the show. And then there was Larry Brown's big sit-down with Dave just before the Knicks went on to lose 59 games. After Mike D'Antoni read a top 10 list, the Knicks lost 50.
Or, it could be that the team is running out of gas, with head coach Mike D'Antoni sticking with a short rotation, and starters such as Stoudemire and Ray Felton playing 40 minutes a game.  Had to catch up to them at some point.  The Carmelo Anthony trade is starting to look like a deal they have to make.
