UPDATE: New York Jets QB Mark Sanchez Admits To "Fake Booger Wipe" On Mark Brunell

On ESPN Radio Tuesday afternoon, Michael Kay asked New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez about the infamous booger incident with fellow quarterback Mark Brunell.  Sanchez claimed to be getting a lot of text messages and phone calls about it, but claims it was a "fake booger wipe" and Brunell knew that and took it in stride.  Some other quotes from Mark Sanchez:
"[Brunell]'s like my big brother and we have such a good relationship, and I just feel so bad that it was on TV...but that's the way we are.  We just have fun and joke around and keep things light...I didn't want it to be like a disrespectful thing, obviously, and he knew that, and I called him the very next day and was like 'I am so sorry, I feel so bad', and [Brunell] said 'Oh, don't worry.  Only 55 million people saw you fake-wipe a booger on me."
"It was like a cold-weather...almost runny nose, not even a real booger.  If it would have been there, it would have been a legit booger.  I don't think I could have done that to him".
"The worst part is, I know [Brunell] is going to get me back.  I just know that no one else is going to be around to see it, so it's going to be...worse, I'm sure."
Sanchez had a good laugh with Michael Kay about "Booger-gate"
