In the second period of last night's NHL preseason game between the Vancouver Canucks and San Jose Sharks, a fight broke out between Vancouver's Aaron Volpatti and San Jose's Brad Winchester.
In reality, however, it wasn't much of a fight at all, as Volpatti KO'd Winchester with his first punch.
Both players dropped gloves after the referee dropped the puck for a face-off and Winchester came at Volpatti, but before Winchester could even throw a punch, Volpatti connected with Winchester. Winchester immediately went down on his knees and just like that, the fight was over. Both players received 5-minute penalties for fighting.
