Video: Todd Jones Imitates Jose Valverde While Throwing Out Ceremonial First Pitch in Detroit

Retired Detroit Tigers relief pitcher Todd Jones, who happens to be the Tigers all-time leader in saves, threw out the ceremonial first pitch in Detroit before Game 4 of their ALDS matchup against the New York Yankees.

Todd Jones used the opportunity to do his impression of current Tigers reliever Jose Valverde. Jones wore Valverde's jersey, used Jose's windup to throw his pitch and then imitated Jose's victory celebration after the pitch.

Unfortunately, Valverde did not get a chance to close out the series for Detroit yesterday, as the Yankees beat the Tigers 10-1. So it looks Valverde was wrong when he said after Game 2 that the series was "over".
