Video: Ugly Football Brawl Between Sacramento High Schools Forces Each Team to Forfeit Next Game

An ugly brawl broke out in a high school football game between two teams in Sacramento, California. The game was ended with five minutes left on the clock after the brawl, which lasted for several minutes.

As punishment, the Sacramento Unified Superintendent has announced that McClatchy High and Kennedy High will each be forced to forfeit the next game on their schedules.

The Sacramento Bee reports that in addition to the forfeits, coaches, ADs and team captains will take part in a sportsmanship summit this week, and the two teams will participate together in a community service event this weekend.

It's good that administrators are taking this matter so seriously.  Let's hope that everyone learns from this and it doesn't happen again.
