Video: South Carolina High Schools Show Sportsmanship As Football Player With Down Syndrome Scores 75 Yard Touchdown

Recently, a high school football player in South Carolina with Down Syndrome named Chip Mullen scored a 75-yard touchdown in a playoff game.



Myrtle Beach was leading Hilton Head 64-10 late in the fourth quarter.  In a move coordinated by head coaches of both teams, Hilton Head's Chip Mullen, who has Down Syndrome, was given the ball and was able to run 75 yards for the touchdown to end the game.  

To cap it off in the ultimate gesture of sportsmanship, players from both teams joined Mullen in the end zone to celebrate.
