Brad Marchand and Matt Niskanen Fight During Second Period of Bruins-Penguins Game

Boston Bruins center Brad Marchand and Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Matt Niskanen got into a fight in the second period of last night's NHL game in Pittsburgh.

Marchand upended Niskanen behind the Penguins net, which understandably upset Niskanen.  After a little war of words, they dropped the gloves and went at it.  Niskanen seemed to get the best of Marchand as he threw more punches and was able to use his height and weight advantage.

Both players received 5 minute major penalties for fighting, and Marchand received an additional two minutes for tripping on the initial knockdown of Niskanen.

The Bruins won the game 3-1.
