Blue Jackets goalie Steve Mason yells at coach Todd Richards after being pulled (Video)

In Saturday night NHL action from Columbus, Blue Jackets goalie Steve Mason was pulled in the second period yesterday after giving up 4 goals on 20 shots against the visiting Chicago Blackhawks. After Mason sat down on the bench, he was caught yelling at interim head coach Todd Richards for about 30 seconds.

Not sure what Mason's beef was with Richards, as it would seem Richards made a reasonable move to pull Mason from the net after giving up four goals in two periods. However, it never looks good for a player to be yelling at his coach in front of the fans. Mason probably should have waited until after the game and took it up with him in private.

Of course, there's the possibility that Mason has had it with all the losing in Columbus and just wants out. We'll have to see what happens.
