Belgian soccer coach tries to stop opposing player with his foot (Video)

In a recent second division soccer match from Belgium, Royal Antwerp's John Cofie chased a ball towards Tubize's dugout, right at the spot on the sideline where Tubize manager Dante Brogno happened to be standing. For some reason, Brogno's instinct told him to stand his ground and stop Cofie by lifting his foot and sticking it straight out towards Cofie's midsection.

Brogno's foot was inches away from Cofie's waist, but somehow Brogon was able to get his foot down before Cofie collided with him. Cofie gave Brogno a little shove and questioned Brogno about the attempted kick to the waist, while Brogno tried to justify himself protecting the dugout zone. Fortunately, the situation was diffused quickly and an ugly incident was prevented.

It was a strange move, but in the end, Brogno got the last laugh as Tubize won the match 3-2.

H/T Dirty Tackle.
