Illinois high school basketball announcer screams like little girl after game winning shot (Video)

At an Illinois High School regional championship basketball game between two Chicago high schools, a basketball announcer went a little over the top when calling the game-winning shot. And when I say a little over the top, I mean freaking out and screaming like a little girl.

It happened Friday night as Marist High School's Lexus Williams made a three-point shot with 2.4 seconds left to give them a 63-62 lead over Curie Metropolitan. When Williams hits the shot, the announcer practically starts singing opera with the high-pitched screams of excitement that he shouted out.

Afterwards, the clock was reset to 3.5 seconds left, where Curie had to go the length of the floor. Once Curie heaved a shot from center court and missed to end the game, the announcer let out a few more screams, leaving viewers wondering how he is able to hit those high notes.
