Warriors owner booed during Chris Mullin jersey retirement ceremony (Video)

Golden State Warriors fans were not happy that one of their favorite players, Monta Ellis, was traded away last week. They expressed their frustration last night by booing owner Joe Lacob at halftime of last night's game against the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves. Unfortunately, the fan's expressed their frustration at the expense of overshadowing the jersey retirement ceremony of Warriors great Chris Mullin.

Lacob had difficulty getting through his prepared speech. Mullin actually stepped forward to support Lacob, and Rick Barry also stepped forward to scold the fans. Eventually Lacob was able to finish the speech and wrap up the ceremony.

It may not have been the right forum for the Warriors fans to express their frustration to the team owner, but they certainly got their message across loud and clear.
