Cardinals' World Series trophy nearly smashed by foul ball at minor league game (Video)

The St. Louis Cardinals' 2011 World Series trophy was nearly smashed by a foul ball on Saturday as it was being displayed in the right field bullpen during a game of their minor league affiliate Springfield Cardinals.

It happened in the bottom of the fourth inning during their game against the Tulsa Drillers. The Springfield batter hit a foul ball down the right field line, right towards a man holding the World Series trophy as he was being interviewed. Fortunately, the man was alert and ducked down behind the short wall in front of the bullpen and kept the trophy out of harm's way.
