Fan texting in front row of Knicks-Nets game gets hit in head with ball (Video)

A fan sitting in the first row of Tuesday night's New Jersey Nets game against their rival New York Knicks was texting as live action was taking place on the court. He paid for it dearly as an errant bounce pass by Knicks center Tyson Chandler caused the fan to get hit right in the head with the ball.

It happened in the third quarter, and afterwards the fan didn't appear to learn anything from the experience as he went right back to texting.

Those front row seats cost a lot of money. If you're going to spend that kind of money on tickets, the least you could do is pay attention to the action on the court. Let that be today's lesson for the kids at home.
