I.K. Kim misses one-foot putt and loses Kraft Nabisco Championship (Video)

On Sunday afternoon at the Kraft Nabisco Championship women's golf tournament, I.K. Kim had a one-shot lead at the 18th hole of the final round. All Kim had to do was make a one-foot putt, and everyone, including the announcers, assumed that it was only a formality that she would make the putt and win her first major championship.

Yet, somehow, inexplicably, Kim blew it.

Kim's putt went around the lip of the cup, but never went in. She was forced to settle for bogey, which pulled her back into a tie for the lead and forced her into a playoff with Sun Young Yoo. Naturally, the miss had a major effect on Kim mentally and emotionally as she proceeded to lose the first playoff hole to Yoo. Now, Kim will have to find a way to regroup and move on from what would appear to be one of the most devastating tournament losses in recent memory.
