LaVar Arrington delivers weak ceremonial first pitch at Nationals game (Video)

Before Tuesday's Washington Nationals game against the Houston Astros, retired Redskins linebacker LaVar Arrington threw out a very weak ceremonial first pitch.

Arrington tried to ham it up a bit as he pretended to check the runner at first base and wound up his arm as if he was going to throw it really hard. However, the end result was really weak as Arrington's pitch bounced twice before reaching the catcher.

In Arrington's defense, at least he got it across home plate. The ceremonial first pitch that Wizards guard John Wall threw out at a Nationals game last June was nowhere close to home plate and may have been one of the worst ever.

Fortunately, the Nationals themselves were able to deliver some good pitching themselves as they won the game 1-0.
