New York Yankees DH Andruw Jones had a bit of a surprise Sunday after he hit a foul ball into the backstop and it bounced back and hit him during Sunday's game against the Oakland A's.
It happened in the top of the eighth inning when Jones hit a foul ball straight back behind home plate into the bottom of the backstop. The ball made a loud bang as it hit the backstop on a bounce, then went high into the air and hit Jones in the elbow. Jones was fine and finished the at-bat by striking out.
Would love to see Jones try that again. That's a one in a million shot right there.
