Phillies have robot 'Hubo' throw out first pitch...poorly (Video)

On Saturday, the Philadelphia Phillies gave a salute to the Philadelphia Science Festival that took place last week by allowing 'Hubo' the robot to throw out the ceremonial first pitch before their game against the Chicago Cubs. Unfortunately, the pitch was not pretty.

The robot was developed by the Drexel University College of Engineering and was decked out in a Phillies hat. The Philly Phanatic set up behind home plate to catch Hubo's pitch. However, the result went about 10 feet to the left of home plate.

Afterwards he Philly Phanatic went to the mound and made a "call to the bullpen" to "yank" Hubo for his embarrassing pitch.
