T.J. Oshie flattens Dustin Penner with clean hit (Video)

St. Louis Blues center T.J. Oshie flattened Los Angeles Kings left winger Dustin Penner with a clean hit in the third period of Monday night's Game 2 of their NHL playoff series.

Oshie hit Penner in the chest with his shoulder and took him down on the Kings end of the ice. Penner got up and went after Oshie, leading to a scrum between the teams. Blues left winger David Perron came over to help Oshie, but Kings center Mike Richards took Perron down and tried to rip his head off. Fortunately the refs got things under control quickly.

Penner, Oshie and Perron were each given two minutes each for roughing, while Richards was given four minutes on a double minor roughing penalty.

The Blues were down 5-2 at the time, and although they still lost the game to go down in the series 2-0, they still have some fight left in them.
