Nyjer Morgan shoves Reds fan after losing foul ball in stands (Video)

Milwaukee Brewers right fielder Nyjer Morgan shoved a Cincinnati Reds fan and argued with him after losing a foul ball in the front row of the stands during Wednesday's game at Great American Ball Park.

It happened in the bottom of the ninth inning as Reds batter Devin Mesoraco hit the foul ball. Morgan reached into the front row with his glove, while the Reds fan in the front row reached straight up to catch the ball. As a result, Morgan knocked the ball out of the fan's bare hands as they were both trying to catch it.

Morgan felt he was interfered with and shoved the fan, but since the fan did not reach over into the field of play, he had as much right to the ball as Morgan did. Morgan had some words for the fan as he walked back to right field, and he could have gotten himself into more trouble if he didn't walk away right then.

We'll see if Morgan gets any punishment for shoving the fan. That was not cool.
