Kansas State QB Collin Klien's behind-the-back pass fails miserably (Video)

Kansas State Wildcats quarterback Collin Klein tried a behind-the-back pass to running back Chris Harper with 3rd and goal on the 1-yard-line during the second quarter of Saturday's game against the Miami Hurricanes. It was a risky play, and it didn't go very well.

Klein's "pass" was a backward lateral that was out of the reach of wide receiver Chris Harper. Harper tracked the ball down at the 12-yard line, but ran further backwards and was tackled at the 20. To top things off, kicker Anthony Cantele missed the field goal, so Kansas State ended up with no points due to the poor play execution.

Fortunately, Kansas State was up 24-6 at home in the second quarter, so they were able to get away with a stunt like that. At least now Klein knows to never, ever try that again.
