Rockets center Omer Asik scores...on his own basket (Video)

Houston Rockets center Omer Asik accidentally scored on his own basket during Tuesday night's NBA game against the Toronto Raptors.

It happened with about 1:23 left as Raptors guard Kyle Lowry missed a 19-foot jumper off the rim. Asik went up for the rebound, but somehow tipped it straight up into the air and into the basket.

Interestingly enough, the ESPN play-by-play game recap gives credit for the basket to Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas, who was closest to the basket at the time Asik knocked it in, as opposed to Lowry, who took the shot and was the last Raptors player to touch it.

Fortunately, Asik made up for his goof with a two-handed slam a minute later and finished the game with 13 points and a team-high 18 rebounds to help the Rockets to a 117-101 victory.
