Bulgarian football player suspended six games for body-checking referee (Video)

In a soccer match from Bulgaria last weekend, Cherno More Varna defender Sasho Alexandrov knocked a referee down to the ground with a body check, and now will be suspended six games as a result.

After being assessed with a penalty for tackling an opposing Levski Sofia player from behind, Alexandrov ran right at the referee and appeared to brace for impact as he knocked him down.

The six game ban should give Alexandrov plenty of time to get himself some anger management counseling.

H/T Dirty Tackle.
