With Opening Day around the corner, the Philadelphia Phillies are "Painting The Town Red", and the Philly Phanatic has "painted" himself red while making various public appearances on television and around the city all week. One of his stops Tuesday morning was on the set of "Good Day" Philadelphia, where he joined FOX 29 traffic reporter Kacie McDonnell on camera as she talked about the Phillies near the end of her segment. McDonnell knew to expect the unexpected when the Phanatic showed up, but she probably wasn't expecting the Phanatic to move in for a smooch. After the surprise kiss, McDonnell joked "I guess I have a boyfriend now?"
