A Chicago Cubs fan was able to prevent a near disaster during Friday's game at Wrigley Field when he stopped his young son from throwing a foul ball back onto the field.Too many times we've seen young fans get handed baseballs and just throw them away. This young Cubs fan, who was just handed a foul ball by another fan, was about to do the same thing. Fortunately, the fan's dad was watching and, anticipating what was about to happen, got his hand up just in time to block his son's throwback attempt and save the baseball.
The Cubs broadcast team couldn't have summed it up any better: "Great D, Pops."
