Marcell Ozuna faceplants, slides into wall head first after tripping on bullpen mound (Video)

Miami Marlins right fielder Marcell Ozuna did a faceplant and slid head first into a wall after he tripped on the bullpen mound while chasing a foul popup during Tuesday night's game at Tropicana Field against the Tampa Bay Rays.

It happened in the fifth inning as Ozuna ran full speed to track down the popup by Rays batter Evan Longoria. Ozuna had a good chance to catch the ball if he were able to adjust for the bullpen mound in right field foul territory, but he had no chance for it after he tripped, and his momentum on the slippery sand sent him flying into the wall head first.

Fortuantely, Ozuna was not injured, and he caught Longoria's fly ball to right field on the very next pitch.
