Canadian indoor lacrosse match turns into bench clearing brawl (Video)

Canadian lacrosse bench clearing brawl
In Canadian indoor lacrosse action Wednesday night from the Major Series League, a massive bench clearing brawl broke out between the Oakville Rock and Brooklin Redmen.

It started out in the second period as a couple of minor scuffles between Rock and Redmen players broke out on the court. Things appeared to cool down after about a minute, but after Oakville’s Brendon Niesink (No. 25 in white) began attacking the Brooklin bench, both benches emptied and things spun out of control.

In the end, 43 penalties were handed out by the officials, including 195 penalty minutes during an eight minute span of the second period. Brooklin won the match 11-7.
