Martin Prado stomps baseball into the ground (Video)

Arizona Diamondbacks third baseman Martin Prado stomped on the baseball in frustration after being unable to field a slow roller during Wednesday night's game against the New York Mets.

It happened in the first inning as Mets batter Eric Young hit the grounder to third, which was slowed down a bit due to a wet field. Prado had to run in hard and tried to pick it up barehanded and throw all in one motion, but couldn't get his grip on the ball and ended up knocking it back towards home plate. It's unlikely that even a perfect throw from Prado would have been able to throw out Young, who reached base easily, but Prado apparently felt the baseball was to blame.
