Braves 3B Chris Johnson tapes mouth shut as 'apology' to umpire Jim Joyce (Video)

Atlanta Braves third baseman Chris Johnson was ejected in the third inning of Saturday's game by home plate umpire Jim Joyce for arguing balls and strikes. With Joyce serving as the third base umpire in Sunday's game, that could have made things really awkward for Johnson. However, Joyce took a different approach to ease the situation.

Johnson came out to the dugout before the game with his mouth taped shut as a joke to show Joyce that he had no plans of be ejected again. To further prove there were no hard feelings, Johnson tipped his tap to Joyce as he came out to third base for the first time, and Joyce saluted him in return.

Kudos to Johnson for finding a creative way to handle the situation and not holding a grudge.
