Hanley Ramirez injures shoulder after flipping into Wrigley Field stands (Video)

Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Hanley Ramirez had to leave Sunday's game in the seventh inning with a shoulder injury after flipping into the stands at Wrigley Field.

Ramirez chased a popup by Chicago Cubs batter David DeJesus as the wind took it into foul territory towards the third base stands. Ramirez caught it just a few feet from the stands, but his momentum carried him into a short brick wall in front of the fans. Ramirez held onto the baseball after the collision sent him flipping into the stands, but jammed his right shoulder while using his right arm to brace himself from falling head first.

Ramirez will receive an MRI on Monday to determine the severity of the shoulder injury.
