Retired Philadelphia Phillies reliever Mitch Williams lived up to his "Wild Thing" nickname when he threw a poor ceremonial first pitch before Friday night's game at Citizens Bank Park.
The Philly Phanatic was behind home plate to catch the ball, but the throw from Williams was a few feet wide. That prompted the Phanatic to taunt Williams by jokingly "calling for a new pitcher".
