Rockies catcher tags two runners out on same play...at third base (Video)

Colorado Rockies catcher Yorvit Torrealba turned an extremely unusual double play when he tagged two runners out by himself on the same play - at third base, no less - during Wednesday's game at Coors Field.

Yorvit Torrealba double play
It happened in the top of the sixth inning with the San Diego Padres having runners on first and third with nobody out.
Padres batter Logan Forsythe hit a grounder to third baseman Nolan Arenado, who threw home to Torrealba, catching Padres runner Jedd Gyorko in a rundown while Jesus Guzman advanced to second base. As Torrealba chased Gyorko back to third, Jesus Guzman tried advancing third base. As Arenado slowed down Gyorko, Torrealba applied the tag for the first out, then Torrealba continued running and slid in front of third base to block the bag and make the tag on Guzman.

The play by Torrealba was huge as it prevented the Padres from tying the game. The Rockies ended up winning 4-2.
