Tigers shortstop Jose Iglesias makes fantastic off-balance throw to first (Video)

Detroit Tigers shortstop Jose Iglesias provided a play for the highlight reel with an amazing one-handed, off-balance throw to first in time for the out during Monday night's game in Chicago.

It happened in the sixth inning as Chicago White Sox batter Josh Phegley hit a slow chopper to short. Iglesias reached down to pick up the ball with his bare hand, and in one motion made an underhand toss across his body towards first base while falling to the ground. The throw was good enough to beat Phegley to first by a fraction of a second.

Iglesias also went 1-for-3 from the plate, but the White Sox beat the Tigers 6-2.
