Jameis Winston is also good at baseball (Video)

Florida State Seminoles redshirt freshman quarterback Jameis Winston made his presence felt in his first college football game Monday night, completing 25 of 27 passes for 356 yards and 4 touchdowns, along with a rushing touchdown, in a 41-13 rout over Pitt. That dominating performance likely puts Winston in the Heisman Trophy conversation, but it should also be noted that Winston played baseball for FSU last spring, and he displayed some of decent skill on the diamond as well.

Here is Winston playing right field and using his arm to gun down a Clemson runner at third base:

Along with playing right field and displaying speed on the basepaths, Winston also pitched in relief and could throw fastballs up to 96 mph. Here's a small package of Winston's baseball highlights:

We'll see if Winston sticks with baseball next year, as it looks like this football thing is going to work out well for him. However, it's nice to know that Winston has a backup option.
