Jim Irsay took one last parting shot at Peyton Manning in postgame speech (Video)

Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay couldn't resist taking one last parting shot at Denver Broncos quarterback (and former Colts QB) Peyton Manning when he gave a speech to the Colts in the locker room after their 39-33 victory over the Broncos last Sunday night.

After the game, which was Manning's first visit to Indianapolis since joining the Broncos as a free agent, Irsay had this to say:
"That other guy next door is one of the greats and I have nothing but gratitude towards what he's done for this team. But today is today, and we all know that we want to go get this." Irsay then held up his hand and proudly showed the team his Super Bowl ring. Irsay then said "Anyone who doesn't want more than one of these shouldn't wear a horseshoe because that's what it's about."
So, was Irsay trying to say that Manning didn't want to win multiple Super Bowls? Or was he trying to say that Manning didn't deserve to wear a Colts uniform? Not to mention what Andrew Luck must have thought when he heard this. Is Irsay implying that if Luck doesn't win at least two Super Bowls, his Colts career should be considered a failure?

Irsay's comments seemed inappropriate considering all that Manning did for the Colts franchise. Maybe one day Irsay will learn to leave well enough alone.
