Middle Tennessee State's band scolded by ref (Video)

Now here's something you never see in college football: a referee had to stop a game to tell the band to stop playing.

Middle Tennessee State's "Blue Raider" band was given a slap on the wrist for playing "Seven Nation Army" while Marshall's offense was lined up for a 3rd and 3 and their QB was calling signals during the second quarter of Thursday night's game. The referee gently reminded the band that according to the rules, "The band needs to quit playing as soon as the offense comes to the line of scrimmage."

Sorry, Blue Raider Band, but you can't do that.

H/T BMS.
