Iowa Hawkeyes men's basketball coach Fran McCaffery kicked a notebook off the scorer's table during Tuesday's 71-69 overtime loss to Michigan State.
The outburst continues McCaffery's pattern of bad behavior that has already earned him a one-game suspension this year and sets a poor example for his players, not to mention how his tantrums reflect poorly upon the university.
For the time being, Iowa will tolerate McCaffery's inappropriate conduct, as the team is on pace to make the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2006. However, we would still recommend sending McCaffery to anger management counseling before he really goes over the edge.
