Bubba Watson's errant approach shot lands near his wife (Video)

Bubba Watson was involved in an unintentionally funny moment on the par-5 11th hole during Thursday's second round of the Accenture Match Play Championship tournament when his errant shot nearly rolled into the feet of his wife.

WARNING: NSFW language used by Watson, so turn the volume down if the kids are nearby.

Watson's second shot on the 11th hole went a bit wide and bounced off the fairway into the rough, right towards the spot where his wife Angie happened to be standing. Angie was alerted by some nearby fans about the ball coming her way, so fortunately she was able to move and allow the ball to roll past her, stopping just a foot or two away. Once she was sure the ball had stopped, Angie gave the "safe" sign.

Watson was understandably upset with his bad shot, which may have things a bit awkward as he had to play through with his wife standing so close (Sorry, honey, can't talk now). At the same time, what are the odds of him hitting the ball so close to the exact spot where she was standing?

Watson defeated Jonas Blixt (2 up) to advance to Friday's round of 16, so he probably got a big chuckle out of it after his day was over.
