San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis is currently in Sochi serving as honorary captain of the U.S. women's curling team. During some down time Monday, Davis watched some ice dancing and decided to toss a bouquet of flowers in support of a performance by American figure skaters Maia Shibutani and Alex Shibutani.
Unfortunately, the bouquet toss by Davis landed a bit short of the ice. That's why Davis is not a quarterback.
