Norwegian soccer player leaves teammate with stitches...before match starts (Video)

A Norwegian soccer player accidentally injured one of his teammates - leaving him with a gash in his head that required six stitches to close - before the game even started.

It happened Thursday after the pregame handshakes before a Norwegian cup match between Bossekop UL and Alta IF. Bossekop's Mathias Dahl Abelsen tried to playfully jump on the back of teammate Martin Mathisen just as Mathisen was trying to loosen up his legs by jumping up into the air. Mathisen's head collided with Abelsen's chin, resulting in this epic disaster. Talk about bad timing.

As luck would have it, Bossekop lost the match 4-1. Let this be a lesson for the kids at home: This is why you don't horse around before games. DON'T DO THIS.
