Mariners scoreboard displays score upside-down (Video)

The Seattle Mariners scoreboard operators at Safeco Field had a bit of a hiccup during Friday night's game against Cleveland when they accidentally posted an upside-down number.

It happened in the bottom of the seventh after Endy Chavez hit a home run to give the Mariners a 3-1 lead. The scoreboard posted an upside-down three in the 'R' column until the end of the inning, when they realized their mistake and re-posted the number correctly.

That obviously wasn't planned, but sometimes when you leave things in human hands, mistakes can happen. That's why baseball finally has instant replay.
