Seth Smith foul ball breaks monitor in Padres' broadcast booth (Video)

A foul ball by San Diego Padres left fielder Seth Smith broke a computer monitor in the Padres broadcast booth during Monday night's game at Seattle.

It happened in the top of the sixth as Smith hit a 1-1 pitch foul behind home plate. The broadcasters were not put in harm's way, but the same could not be said for the monitor which was knocked over.

The monitor still had power, but could not display anything except a rainbow screen, so it was effectively put on the "disabled list". Wonder if Smith is going to have to pay for that one.
