Alex Rios drops fly ball, charged with 3-base error (Video)

Texas Rangers right fielder Alex Rios was charged with a three-base error after a fly ball bounced out of his glove during the sixth inning of Tuesday night's game against the N.Y. Yankees.

Yankees batter Brett Gardner hit a fly ball to right-center field, with Rios was chasing the ball along with center fielder Leonys Martin. It appeared that Rios was calling for it and should have caught it, but he closed the glove too soon. As a result, the ball bounced out of his glove and doinked off Martin's head before dropping to the ground.

With plays like that, is it any wonder that the Rangers have the worst record in baseball?
