5-yr-old plays with Utah Jazz in preseason scrimmage (Video)

The Utah Jazz held a preseason scrimmage Monday night and were joined on the bench by a special guest: 5-year-old J.P. Gibson, who was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in 2012.

The Jazz signed Gibson to a 1-day contract prior to the scrimmage and gave him a customized Jazz uniform for the occasion. Gibson came off the bench and into the game during the final seconds of the third quarter. Gibson took the inbounds pass, dribbled down the court and threw down a slam dunk, with the help of 7-foot-2 center Rudy Gobert.

All in all, a very nice gesture by the Utah Jazz.
