Miami Beach Bowl ends with ugly brawl between Memphis and BYU (Video)

The exciting finish to Monday's Miami Beach Bowl was marred by an brawl between Memphis and BYU that turned really ugly.

The game was back-and-forth, with Memphis defeating BYU 55-48 in double overtime with an interception on the final play. Apparently BYU didn't take kindly to Memphis taking the postgame celebration so close to their sideline. It's unclear from the video how the melee started, but a Memphis player threw the first punch, and then things spun out of control:

One of the uglier moments was a sucker punch thrown by BYU's Kai Nacua as the brawl seemed to be winding down, although he had clearly taken a shot from somebody:

Looks like some supplementary discipline will be handed out to players on both teams. It's a shame that their season has to end on such a sour note.
