Rajai Davis borrows bench coach Gene Lamont's jersey for at-bat (Video)

Detroit Tigers outfielder Rajai Davis borrowed bench coach Gene Lamont's jersey for his first at-bat during Saturday's spring training game against the N.Y. Yankees.

The Tigers had a split squad Saturday, with most veterans staying in Lakeland to take on the Phillies at home. Davis was part of the road team which took the trip to Tampa, and somehow he forgot his number 20 jersey, leading to the awkward situation.

Not sure how it was decided that Lamont would be the guy to give up his number 22 jersey, but they figured it out and probably had a good laugh about it after the game. The Tigers did manage to get Davis' jersey to Tampa in time for his next at-bat in the fourth inning, and Davis promptly doubled and scored a run.
