J.R. Smith beats halftime buzzer with fadeaway heave vs Bulls (Video)

Cleveland Cavaliers guard J.R. Smith beat the halftime buzzer with an incredible fadeaway heave from 40 feet away while falling out of bounds during Sunday's game against Chicago.

It was a designed play coming out of a 20-second timeout with under 3 seconds left in the half. LeBron James made the perfect pass from the baseline to Smith at halfcourt. Smith took one dribble near the sideline and heaved it towards the basket as his momentum was taking him out of bounds. The play could not have been executed any more perfectly.

Smith hit eight 3-pointers in the game, which counted for his entire offensive output of 24 points, as the Cavs beat the Bulls 99-94.
