Pittsburgh Pirates first baseman Pedro Alvarez hit a home run out of PNC Park and into a small boat parked along the edge of the Allegheny River in the bottom of the fourth inning of Tuesday's game against Minnesota.
The solo HR by Alvarez traveled about 450 feet and landed in the boat on the fly. A passer-by saw the baseball land and hopped into the boat to grab the souvenir for himself.
