Vin Scully is now a Guinness World Record holder (Video)

Los Angeles Dodgers broadcaster Vin Scully can now add another accomplishment to the resume of his legendary career: Guinness World Record holder.

Prior to Wednesday night's game, Scully was presented with an official certificate to commemorate his world record for longest career as a broadcaster with a single team. The entire Scully family was on the field with him to celebrate the occasion, and the Dodgers gave out Vin Scully bobbleheads to some lucky fans.

Scully began broadcasting for the Dodgers on April 1, 1950. As of September 23, his career has lasted 65 years, 5 months and 22 days.

Scully has announced he is returning to the booth for 2016, which will likely be his final season with the Dodgers.
