Mike Patrick gets confused, calls Indiana INT on Michigan State TD (Video)

Michigan State Spartans wide receiver Aaron Burbridge scored a third quarter touchdown in Saturday's Big Ten conference football game against Indiana. However, if you watched the game on ESPN, you may have been confused by Mike Patrick's blown call on the play, as he was convinced that Hoosiers defensive back Rashard Fant intercepted the pass.

It just so happens that both Fant and Burbridge wear the number 16, which helps explain the audio on the call:
Patrick: "Blitz coming. Cook...overthrows and intercepted. Picked off by the sophomore Rashard Fant. This kid can play...I'm sorry, 16 and 16. I am terribly sorry. That's Burbridge for the touchdown.
Seems that Patrick momentarily got the teams mixed up. That's a pretty critical detail if you're calling a college football game. Come on, Patrick, step up your game.
