Blake Griffin beats shot clock with alley oop three pointer (Video)

Blake Griffin converted an unconventional alley oop for a three pointer during Tuesday night's Los Angeles Clippers game against Denver.

Griffin caught the ball in mid-air and had to put it up immediately before landing on the court because the shot clock was winding down. Fortunately for the Clips, the shot was good.

The Clippers are known for their "Lob City" nickname, but you don't see alley oops like this very often.

Griffin scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as the Clippers beat the Nuggets 111-94 to break a three-game losing streak. The Nuggets have lost four straight games.
